The MA Department of KLB DAV College for Girls Palampur organised an Educational Tour from May 16th to 18th, 2024, in the gorgeous environment of Kullu-Manali, with the primary objective of enlightening students from diverse areas. Director, Dr. RS Rana & Vice Principal Mrs. Champa Saini gave permission to three teachers, Dr. Sandeep, Mrs. Sukanya, and Mrs. Poonam, to guide the Students throughout their journey. They investigated several vistas, such as the Manikaran Shiva Temple, Atal Tunnel, Koksar Snow Point, Solang Valley, Hidimba Temple, and Rishi Prashar Lake, contributing to the region’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy apart from its serene beauty. The Students also discussed plant protection in Kullu-Manali, which helped them better comprehend environmental stewardship. This tour was a transformative experience for them, broadening their cultural, religious and environmental perspectives.
