Eligibility Conditions
Candidates who have passed or are appearing in 10+2 final examination with any subject under 10+2 system or examination equivalent there to of a board/university established by law in India and considered equivalent by the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) are eligible for admission, or any examination, of University/Board/College/School in foreign country recognized as equivalent for the above purpose by equivalence committee of its own or on recommendation of association of Indian University with 45% marks (40% marks of SC/ST Category) at 10+2 standard.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the BBA/BCA course is 23 years on 1st July of the year concerned, provided that in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST, the upper age limit will be raised by three years, provided further that the Vice Chancellor shall have the powers to permit age relaxation for reason to be recorded in writing up to a maximum of three months.

The total no. seats in each course distributed as under

22.5% of the total number of seats (15% of SC and 7.5% for ST) shall be reserved for students belonging to such category or reservation of seats will be as per the reservation roaster of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. In case the seats remain vacant in the reserved category these will be filled from General Category as per merit/waiting list.
