Eligibility of Admission

A student who has passed 10+2 examination or an equivalent course can get admission in the first year course if she fulfills the eligibility conditions. No candidate with compartment in 10+2 will given admission. DSC identified would not be changed, unless the student quits a programme and joins a new programme.

For the Degree

A regular candidate shall have to undergo the prescribed courses of study in a college affiliated to the H.P. University for a period not less than three academic years (and not more than five academic years).

There shall be no private or other category of students and shall be eligible for degree either through regular mode mode ot through distance education mode. A candidate other than regular candidates shall have to undergo the prescribed courses of study International Centre for Distance Education and Open Learning (ICDEOL) H.P. University for a period not less than three academic years (and not more than five academic years), passed the examination prescribed and fulfill such conditions as have been prescribed therefore.

For the degree under yearly system, the student will have to cumulate a minimum of 132 sucessful credit hours of course work over a minimum of three and maximum of five years from the date of admission.

Provided that not more than three attempts will be allowed to pass a course.

For bringing uniformity in evaluation system and computation Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) based on students performance in examination the UGC has formulated the guidelines to be followed from the session 2016-17.
