A total intake seats (Two basic units) including Medical, Non- Medical, Arts, Commerce streams, has been approved by NCTE, H.P. Govt., & H.P.U. Shimla.

Educational Qualification for B.Ed:-

The candidate with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce, Arts) and or in the Master’s Degree in science / Social Science, Humanity, Bachelor’s Degree Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent and 45% marks in case of SC / ST / OBC Physical Handicapped categories in the aforesaid Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university established by law in Indian are eligible for admission to the programme.

Total fee for B.Ed 1^st and 2^nd year is Rs. 98000.

Duration & Working Days of B.Ed. Course
As per NCTE Regulations 2014, the duration of B.Ed. course is of 2 academic years, which can be completed in a maximum of 3 years from the date of admission to the course.

1. There shall be at least two hundered working days each year exclusive of the period examination and admission.
2. The institution shall work for a minimum of thirty six hours in a week (five or six days), during which physical presence in the institution of all the teacher and all student teachers is necessary to ensure their availability for advice, guidance, dialogue and consultation as and when needed.
3. The minimum attendance to student-teachers shall have to be 80% for all course work and practicum, and 90% for school internship.
