Hindi Fortnight was celebrated at KLB DAV Girls College with a variety of literary
activities. The students participated with great enthusiasm. The program was
organized with the cooperation of the college’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Principal Dr. Usha Rana praised the students’ participation, stating that such
events help in personality development and confidence building.
Various competitions like essay writing, story writing, slogan writing, and poetry
recitation were held.
The concluding ceremony took place on 27 September, where successful participants
were awarded certificates. The competitions were held at both the college level and
department level.
In essay writing, Savita (Department of Hindi) secured first place, Kajal (B.Com.)
secured second place, and Teena Devi (Technical Department) secured third place.
In story writing, Isha Chandel (M.Sc.) stood first, Sonia (M.Sc.) second, and Divya
(Political Science) third.
Around 52 students took part in the competitions. Principal Dr. Usha Rana distributed
the certificates and congratulated all the winners.
The program was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Kanchan Sharma,
with active participation from teachers Dr. Ranjana, Dr. Usha, Dr. Neelam, Dr. Renu,
Dr. Sunita, Dr. Rachna, Dr. Sonia, Dr. Seema, Dr. Suman, Dr. Shikha, Dr. Meenu, Dr. Savita,
Dr. Ritu, and Dr. Nisha. The event was moderated by Manju Rana.
