Important Guidelines

General Conduct & Discipline

  • Observance of the college rules & regulations is compulsory. Ignorance of the rules and regulation/order issued from time to time is no excuse. Trainees are expected to go through the hand book of the information and college notice board regularly. Defaulters may be invited for penalities.
  • Since the trainees are future teachers, they are expected to conduct themselves in a graceful and dignified manner.
  • Each trainee is expected to observe the college dress code strictly.
  • Each trainee is expected to be present regularly in the college (expected during leave). Name will be struck-off if a candidate absents herself continuously for six days. Candidates can seek re-admission after satisfying the Principal for the absence within 10 days.
  • No trainee is permitted to undertake any part-time/whole-time job during the course of study
  • No trainee is allowed to put posters in college camps/notice board, or to hold assembly in college premises to address an unauthorised assembly in the college campus.
  • Silence is to be strictly observed. Trainees causing disturbance/obstruction in the smooth functioning of the college are liable for disciplinary action.
  • Any trainee causing loss to the college property will be penalized and asked to make good to the loss.
  • Each trainee is expected to maintain a general level of proficiency in academic educational training.
  • Each trainee is required to participate in sport activities.
  • For outside campus/educational tours/cultural activities, candidates must seek their guardian/parent’s consent to this effect.
  • Trainees causing indiscipline, disobeying the orders, non-observance of rules and regulations and non-completion of assignments will invite disciplinary action.
  • Trainees are allowed to leave the college campus during teaching hours.
  • Parents/Guardians are expected to keep contact with the principal of the college to know their ward’s progress. Office Phone No. 01894-232587.
  • A candidate is required to pass all the courses provided that a candidate who appears in an examination and fails in not more than 50% of the courses shall be declared as re-appear and shall be required to appear in only those course, and will have two chances (One at supplementary stage and one the annual stage) available to her to clear her re-appear. The candidates who fails in more than 50% courses shall be declared as fail and shall be required to appear in all the courses as a private candidate at the time of annual examination. The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in the bachelor of education examination shall be shown separately for theory skill in teaching and work education and work experience.
  • Biometric attendance system is installed in the college based on the guidance of Regulatory Commission in order to prevent proxy attendance and also to prevent unauthorised entries in the college campus.
  • Students must mark their Biometric attendance during arrival and departure from the college campus.
  • Students must come in college in proper prescribed uniform.
  • Students must take care of their belongings Precious items are not to be brought in the college.
  • Students are not allowed to use mobile phones in the college campus. Defaulters will be fined Rs. 100/-
  • Students must submit required testimonials in the college office within 10 days of the admission.
  • It is mandatory to appear in house examination tentatively to be held in middle of session. Defaulters will be fined Rs. 100/- per paper
  • Students should participate eagerly in co-curricular activities organised in the college
  • Students must follow all the guidelines issued by Health Ministry for the prevention of COVID-19
