The K.L.B. D.A.V. College For Girls, Palampur, successfully completed a two-day assessment process conducted by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) on May 27–28. NAAC is an autonomous body in India responsible for assessing and ensuring the quality of higher education institutions. It evaluates universities and colleges based on various parameters such as academic performance, infrastructure, faculty, research, governance, student activities, sports, and more. Based on these criteria, institutions are awarded grades that reflect their quality. Meeting these standards, K.L.B. D.A.V. College For Girls received a ‘B-Grade’. The college Director, Prof (Dr) R S Rana, while encouraging the faculty members, said that their hard work has paid off and the institution has achieved an excellent grade. This grade marks the beginning of a new chapter in the college’s progress and will further motivate it to move ahead with renewed dedication. With this assessment, the reputation of the college has been further enhanced. The President of the College Management Committee, Sh Brij Bihari Lal Butail, Vice-President, Sh Gaurav Butail, Secretary, Sh Rajender Singh Thakur, and Director Prof (Dr) R S Rana extended their congratulations to all students and staff and assured that continuous efforts will be made to further improve the quality of education.
