Certificates Awarded to Students

Palampur, 29 September (BHU):
In K.L.B.D.A.V. Girls College, under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, a Hindi
Fortnight was organized. Certificates were awarded by the Director to the students
who secured first, second, and third positions.

In story writing, Savita M.A. (Hindi) got first place, Kanika B.A. and Divya Rana B.A.
got second place, while Renu got third place.

In poetry writing, Saloni B.Com. stood first, Kajal B.Com. second, and Banno Devi
(Technical Department) third.

In essay writing, Shweta M.Sc. secured first place, Sonia M.Sc. second, and Chitra
Kotoya (Political Science) third.

The College Director, Dr. Rajendra Rana, told the students that Hindi Day and Hindi
Fortnight are occasions to look back at our cultural roots and celebrate mutual
understanding. He emphasized that we must respect and value our language.

The Hindi Fortnight was coordinated by Professor Sukhna Kotoya. On this occasion,
Vice Principal Champa Sethi, Prof. Anup Sharma, Prof. Anil, Prof. Suniti Sud, Prof.
Deepika, Prof. Anjali, Prof. Indu, Prof. Poonam Sharma, and all staff members were present.

The program was chaired by President Babu Nihari Lal Butel and Secretary Rajendra
Thakur, who stated that Hindi is our national language and everyone should respect it.
