Palampur. At KLB DAV Girls College, Palampur, a plantation program was organized under the auspices of IQAC with the joint efforts of the college NSS unit, the Green Audit Committee, Future Sense Foundation in-charge Laxmi Gautam, assistant Neha, and Forest Guard Swati from the Forest Department.
The program was held at Saurav Van Vihar, where a total of 130 saplings of various species, including Gulmohar, Mango, Jamun, and Morpankhi, were planted. On this occasion, about 50 students of the college enthusiastically participated.
The college director, Dr. R.S. Rana, encouraged the students by visiting Saurav Van Vihar and extended his best wishes. The chairman of the college management committee, Brij Bihari Lal Butel, and secretary Rajendra Singh Thakur blessed the students and said that such environmental conservation programs should continue to be organized in the future as well.
