On the occasion of the 84th birth anniversary of former Chairman and Speaker of Vidhan Sabha, Shri Brij Bihari Lal Butail, a plantation drive was organized at KLB DAV Girls College, Palampur, under the Environment Protection Campaign.
NCC cadets and NSS volunteers welcomed the guests and also actively participated in the plantation drive. Along with this, NSS volunteers took the responsibility of watering and taking care of the plants. On this occasion, the Green Audit Committee also carried out the plantation of shady and flowering plants on the college premises.
The Director of the college, Dr. Rajinder Singh Rana, along with the entire staff, was present during the event.
