The KLB DAV College for girls is a premier institution pioneering the education of girls in the state of Himachal Pradesh since its establishment in 1969. Starting with a modest strength of five students; this institution today has more than one thousand students taking different courses. At preset the college has a wide spectrum of courses to offer starting from undergraduate and going up to the post graduate level.

As a progressive institution it has been our endeavor to keep up with the latest demands of the education system and the society. The present day need for vocational education so as to properly equip the women of this hill state for the challenges of tomorrow was realized by us some time back and it was decided to launch two courses at the under graduate level which would provide the much needed economic independence level and self esteem to our girls. The college introduced BBA and BCA ourses in the academic session 2007-2008 and MBA /MCA courses in the academic session 2012-2013.

These courses have been resounding by success for us with students of both the courses bringing laurels to the institution by securing the top two posion in the both courses twice in the last three years. PGDCA course will run from the coming academic session 2014-2015.
