On December 7th, a National Seminar titled “NEP 2020 Implementation: Prospects and Challenges” was organized at KLB DAV Girls College, Palampur, by the IQAC in collaboration with NIILM University, Kaithal, Haryana. The seminar was held in Hybrid (online & physical) mode. The seminar was held under the headship of Professor (Dr) RS Rana, Director of the College. The Chief Guest for the event was Honorable Brij Bihari Lal Butail, and the programme was also graced by College General Secretary of Managing Committee, Sh Rajinder Singh Thakur, Vice-Chancellor of NIILM University, Professor Shameem Ahmed, Professor R.K. Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Kumar, Dr. Roshan Lal Sharma (Resource Person), and Dr. Roshan Lal (Dean, School of Languages, CUHP, Dharamshala). Dr. R.K. Verma (IHM PUSA, New Delhi) was the valedictory guest. Professor Shameem Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor of NIILM University, and Professor R.K. Gupta, Dean Academics, joined the seminar online and shared their thoughts on the new education policy and its implementation. The seminar’s coordinators, Dr. Pradeep Kumar and Satyabhan Yadav (Principal, Government College of Commerce, Alwar, Rajasthan), chaired the technical sessions and motivated the participants. At the conclusion of the seminar, the college’s Vice-Principal, Champa Saini, expressed gratitude through a vote of thanks. On this occasion, President Brij Bihari Lal Butail and General Secretary Rajinder Singh Thakur thanked the esteemed guests and encouraged them to continue providing guidance and support for such future events. Dr Shivani Nagpal (Convener) and Dr Aneesh Rana (Organizing Secretary) congratulated everyone for making this event successful.
