College Library
In order to cater the academic demands of the students , the
college has rich haul of books in the library. There are books
pertaining to the syllabi, reference books and general interest
books. The college subscribes to various magazines, journals and
leading newspapers. A qualified librarian supervises the library
activities and issues books to the students under college rules.
Labs
The college has independent laboratories for all disciplines. It
has a science lab, education technology lab, a computer lab and
a language lab.
Other Facilities
College has its own canteen which serves tea, snacks and working
lunch to the students and staff of the college. The rates and
quality of the products are inspected from time to time.
College provides excellent facilities for sports activities and
training. A sports department is headed by a qualified lecturer
in Physical Education.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are available near by the campus of the
college.
Scholarship and Stipends

admissible under Govt. rules.

Palampur grants three stipends of the total value Rs. 1000/-
yearly to poor and deserving students in the sacred memory of
late. Smt. Mansa devi of Chachian (H.P.)

“Shri Bansi Lal Butail Gold
Medal” Sh. Durga Dutt Sood advocate, from Jalandha awards “Shri
Bansi Lal Butail Gold Medal” annually to the student standing
Ist in B.A. IIIrd University examination in the college and
getting at least 60% marks in aggregate. The creator of the Gold
Medal in consultation with the principal of the college shall
have the right to withhold the gold medal if the performance of
the student standing Ist is not upto the mark as compared to the
overall result of the university.

Silver Medal : Sh. Kishore Nagpal, Assistant Registrar, H.P.
University ENA Lodge Dingal freedom fighter memorial silver
Medal to the student of B.A. III who secures at least first
division.

Sarla Devi Sood Scholarship :
Sarla Devi Charitable Trust, Jalandhar awards scholarship of the
total value of Rs.2000/-to the deserving students of
merit-cum-means basis.

Sh. Bidhi Chand Advocate,
Palampur grants a merit-cum-means scholarship of the value of Rs.
250/- per year.

Bhagat Scholarship: This is
awarded to deserving girl student of rural area on merit-cum
means basis of the total value of Rs. 360/-. Sh. Madan Mohan
Bhagat of Vill. Ghuggar has awarded this scholarship. This
amount is to be paid out of the college interest accured on FDR
worth Rs. 3300/- in the name of college.

Smt. Jayanti Devi Kharwal (of
Daroh) memorial prize for Sanskrit and Hindi a development has
been awarded by Sh. U.C. KATOCH of AIMA Palampur. This Prize is
given out of the invest of Rs. 1000/- kept as fixed deposit in
the college.

Sh. Karam Singh Memorial
stipend of Rs.600/- per annum to poor and deserving students is
awarded by Sh. Iqbal Singh Guleria, advocate Palampur.

Mrs. Vijay Laxmi Vashist
awards yearly stipend of the value of Rs. 300/- to poor
deserving student.
College Society
The Literary and Dramatic Society of the college arranges
seminars, discussions, debates, declamation and celebrates days
of persons of national and religious importance & organises, one
act plays of social and religious types.
The whole of the college student population is divided into
tutorials and inter tutorial competitions in dramatic and
literary performance are officially in establishing report
between the teacher and the taught for further guidance,
education or other wise.
Old Student Association
OSA has been formed in the college to foster fellowship and
friendship amongst the old students of this college and to
co-operate with the college administration for the betterment of
the Institution. Old Students Association(OSA) serves as a link
between the past & present so as to give healthy directions to
coming students. There is a provision of two types of membership

Environment Club
For the beautification of the campus environments club has been
formed in the college. Each students contributes Rs. 20/-,
whereas each staff members contributes Rs. 50/- toward this club
in one academic year.
Red Ribbon Club
The club has been constitute under the aegis of state AIDS
Control Society. The members of this club organized activities
which promote awareness about HIV/AIDS.
